- subscapular fossa and groove along axillary margin
- aponeurosis separtates this muscle from teres major and long head triceps brachii
- tendinous laminae

- proximal 2/3 of flat surface of scapula on dorsal aspect of axillary border
- aponeurotic laminae

- lateral supracondylar ridge, proximal 2/3 humerus

- lateral epicondyle of humerus
- radial collateral ligament of elbow joint
- annular ligament of radiulnar joint
- dorsal surface, supinator crest of ulna
- supinator aponeurosis
