Facts
Before this organization, in 1948 was founded the OEEC, originated as the Organization for European Economic Cooperation to help manage the Marshall Plan. In 1961, the OEEC was reformed into the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development by the Convention of OECD and membership was extended to non-European Countries
