Tissues(made of cells):
Movement-Muscular: Contracts to move what it is attached to
Produce-Glandular: Secretes chemicals; enzymes/hormones
Second layer-Epithelial: Coers body parts(inside/outside gut)
Organs(made of tissue)
Muscular: Moes stomach-churn food
Glandular: digestive juices to digest food
Epithelial: covers inside/outside stomach
Organ systems(made of organs)
Digestive- glands produce juices. Stomach/small intesetine digest food.Liver produces bile.Small intestine absorbs food molecules. Large intestine absorbs water.
PEMS-X
Palisade mesophyll tissue- photosynthesis occurs,lots of chloroplasts
Epidermal tissue- covers whole plant, waxy cuticles(reduce water loss)
Meristem tissue- Found at growing tips of shoots and roots(differentiates)
Spongy mesophyll tissue- big surfaces area to allow gases to diffuse in and out cells
Xylem/Phloem- transports substances, network of vasular bundles,support structure
