Q
Difference b/w electrophile & nucleophile
A
- A nucleophile is usually negatively charged or neutral with a lone pair of electrons.
- Electrophiles –> positively charged/neutral species with empty orbitals attracted to a centre rich in electrons.
- nucleophiles accept protons, donates electrons
- electrophiles donate protons, accept electrons
