A

The land is central to their identity often explained through Dreamtime stories, without the land they would not be able to express their culture through art dance and music, they also would not have their religion as dreamtime stories are based off the land. Without the land they could also not survive as that is their source of food, clothing, medicine etc. They wouldn`t live their traditional lives without it

A

The OR people have a deep connection to land as it is very important to their identity as their history revolves around living off the land and their religion is the belief in souls in the land that will help them Also by living off the land, they are living the traditional life their ancestors lived

A

Poverty, both of these groups face a major poverty issue with 77% of the OR falling under poverty line and 30% of the AU although this is less both groups still rely on small paying jobs or things they can make off the land

A

Both these groups are the indigenous peoples of a country and they also both face the issue of land rights and are still struggling to get equal rights with the whites

A

These groups sustainably lived off the land by when they killed an animal they would use all the animal for food, clothing and other things they could make, they also made sure to use a variety of things so that they did not use out a species they were also nomadic so the land could replenish .

What are some ongoing challenges

A

Issues like
Land rights - Au more land rights like native titles but still challenges OR some rights but not enough to stop things like logging
Voice in Government - AU have increasing representation and seats in parliament OR have limited representation and little say in laws that affect them
Poverty - The AU have 30% falling under the poverty line and the OR have 77% under poverty line
Income - Both groups rely on small paying jobs, things they can make and sell or welfare
Education - The AU people have issues but the government supports them but the OR have lower levels of edu due to access and discrimination
