Remove debris or granulation tissue from surgical site to remove cyst from extraction site
Rongeurs
Trim, cut, snip excess sharp projection of alveolar bone
Bone file (need after rongeurs but can be alone)
To remove or smooth after alveolar bone
Hemostat
To grasp tissue or bone fragments
Needle holder
Grasp and manipulate suture needle during use
Suture scissors
To cut sutures
Tissue scissors
To cut tissue
Mouth prop
Hold mouth open
Mouth gag
Hold patient mouth open
Scalpel holder
To hold blade in place
Root elevator 1
Loosen root, separate and lift root from socket posterior tooth
Root tip elevator 2 EAST OR WEST
MESIAL DISTAL
To lift and remove fragments of root
Root tip pick 3
Remove small fragments and hard to reach places
Chisel (always with mallet)
Split or section tooth Reshape or contour alveolar bone
Mallet (always with chisel)

Tongue / cheek retractor / tissue (flap)
Hold and retract tongue or cheek
