Chronic, bilateral inflammatory disorder of stratified squamous epithelium.
Small white papules which coalesce to form lines (WICKHAMS STRIAE). Most common= posterior buccal mucosa. Can be white or red.
What area of the mouth is most commonly affected by dry mouth?

Cancer has invaded the basement membrane. Mild/moderate/severe dysplasia is a growing dysplasia of cells from the basement membrane to the epithelium.
