Q

What are the 4 types of cementoenamel junction and which is the most concerning?

A

1- Enamel overlaps the cementum. 2- The enamel and cementum meet end to end. 3- The cementum over laps the enamel. 4- There is a small space between the enamel and cementum. The one that are the most concerning is when there is a gap becaues there can be increase risk to caries and when the enamel overlaps the cementum because periodontal ligament cannot attach.

Q

What is a giveaway for the difference between lateral and central mandibular incisors?

A

The curvature of the lateral incisor.

17
Q

With regards to the cervicoincisal length, what are the differences seen between the mixillary central and lateral deciduous primary teeth?

A

The central has a shorter cervicoincisal length than the mesio distal width and the lateral is just the opposite with a greater cervicoincisal length than mesiodistal width.

18
Q

For the primary canines, where do the longer incisal ridges appear for mandibular and maxillary?

A

For the maxillary it is on the mesial and for the mandibular it is on the distal.

19
Q

Where is the distal contact on the mandibular lateral primary incisor?

A

Slightly more towards the cervix.
