Where are the follicles of the developing premolars?
In the bifurcation of deciduous roots.
Why are primary teeth usually more sensitive than in the permanent teeth?
Because the pulp chamber is usually larger and extends further into the crown.
What are the 4 types of cementoenamel junction and which is the most concerning?
1- Enamel overlaps the cementum. 2- The enamel and cementum meet end to end. 3- The cementum over laps the enamel. 4- There is a small space between the enamel and cementum. The one that are the most concerning is when there is a gap becaues there can be increase risk to caries and when the enamel overlaps the cementum because periodontal ligament cannot attach.
What is one of the antibiotics that can be harmful to teeth?
Tetracycline that causes green, yellow or brown teeth.
What is the difference in size patterns seen between the maxillary and mandibular incisors?
