For departure when is the CNIP
From the time doors are armed until the time the seat belt sign are first turned off
For arrival when is the CNIP
From the time seat belt is switched ON for approach till the aircraft is parked.
What clearances does the Flight Plan MORA gives
It clears all obstacles/terrain by 1000 ft when the highest elevation is 5000 ft AMSL or below and by 2000 ft when the highest elevation is at or above 5001 AMSL within a radius of 20 NM from the route.
What is MEA
Minimum en-route altitude gives obstacle clearance and acceptable navigation and ATC communication coverage for the entire route segment for the airway width (e.g 6000 or FL180) (ICAO)
What is GRID MORA
Enclosed by Latitude and longitude. Does not provide navigational and communication coverage. Clears all obstacle and man made structure. JEPPESEN -1000ft for 5000ft or lower -2000ft for 5001 or higher STATE 2000ft in mountainous 1000ft in non-mountainous
What is Route MORA
Represented by (e.g 6000a). Provides obstruction clearance within 10 NM of the airway
- 1000ft for 5000ft or lower
- 2000ft for 5001 or higher
