How to treat opioid toxicity?

Answer 2

1st line: IV Naloxone 400mcg (Wait 1 minute)
2nd line: IV Naloxone 800mcg (Wait 1 minute)
3rd line: IV Naloxone 800mcg (Wait 1 minute)
4th line: IV Naloxone 2mg (4mg may be needed in seriously poisoned patients)

If after this, it does not help. Review diagnosis.

*Doses may be given IM route but only if IV is not available.
