Tropicamide
NEVER atropine for mydriatic- requires 4 weeks indoors (but used for superficial ulcers!)

Trigeminal - sensation
Facial - blinking
How can you access the lower opening of the nasal puncture in horses?
Through nostril

Motor only
If doing something painful do frontal nerve block

Nerve block eye
Apply lots of fluorescein
Green trickle can locate punctae causing squeal leakage

Assessing tear quality
Attaches to damaged epithelium - can assess neoplasia, fungal ulcers
