Someone who has a following on social media that uses their platform to promote products and influence an audience’s interests, consumption habits and behaviours.

Websites and applications that allow media consumers to produce their own content ; consumers become producers

How people, characters, objects, social groups etc are presented to the consumer
Demographic
Defining / categorising audiences based on things like age, gender, income, occupation and education
Mode of address
How the product speaks to the audience and involves them
Aspirant Tribe
A group of people who are interested in living in the moment and being the first to experience and post about the latest trends (EG new pop up food truck, latest shoes, hairstyles, music etc)
