- HYDRATE, Bisphosphonates, tx underlying disease

- Due to hyper coagulability associated with malignancies

- Back Pain with possible neuro deficits
- Compression of spinal cord by extradural mass
- Tx with steroids, then image

- Serum electrolyte abnormalities resulting from rapid breakdown of tumor cell.
- Seen with rapidly proliferating tumors
- Prevention best: those at risk should be well hydrated and on diuretic.
- Tx: Address serum abnormalities, possible dialysis

-Face/neck swelling, periorbital edema, dyspnea, JVD -Severe reduction in venous return from head, neck and upper extremities.
