AD Connector only allows your on-remises users to log in to AWS applications with their Active Directory credentials
AWS Managed Microsoft AD also allow you to run directory-aware workloads in the AWS Cloud and you can establish trust relationship with your on-premises AD users
Simple AD it’s an AD-compatible managed directory on AWS. It doesn’t use AD at all and doesn’t support trust relationships. Best choice if you have less than 5000 users
