CMCS
A
It provides central location in the cockpit for trouble shooting with standardized methods of testing and fault reporting.
CMCS consists of:
• 1 or 2 CMC located in the avionic compartment.
• 2 or 3 Multipurpose Control and Display Units in the cockpit
• printer in the cockpit for hard copies of the information
• a connection to the data link system called ACARS for transmission of the information to the hime base
• digital computer in each aircraft system which is connected to the CMC in order to provide the trouble shooting information.
