Q

How are embedded OMF/AAF sequences different from externally referenced sequences?

A

Embedded OMF/AAF sequences result in one large file containing both the metadata and all the associated media files.
Externally referenced sequences result in a single metadata file (.omf or .aaf) and all associated media stored as separate files (similar to the Pro Tools session structure).
