What is the PENTATEUCH?
First five books of the bible: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy.

The Purpose of Genesis
1) To show the nature of God of Israel (including he is living, Covenant-keeping, Sovereign, Powerful, Righteous, Holy, Good, and Gracious
