What is the old covenant
A
-it was a conditional and bilateral agreement that god made with the Israelites. They were required to obey god and keep law, and in return he protected and blessed them.

What is the new covenant?
A
-we are given the opportunity to receive salvation as a free gift, we share in inheritance of Christ and enjoy a permanent unbroken relationship with god.
