What are bladed and sharply pointed articles?

A

Bladed: any article with a blade
- however a blade which doesn’t exceed 3 inches, folds away and does not lock in open position is exempt!!!

A

Section 50: may detain and search without warrant if you have:
- reasonable grounds to suspect they are in possession and is committing or has committed an offence.

Must inform them of the above!

Offence for any person to have with them on school premises:
(1.) An article with a blade or sharp point
(2.) an offensive weapon as described in s.47
