Medical Certificate, what does this mean?
A certificate of the cause of death signed of by the Dr who has treated the deceased for an aggressive or long term illness where death was expected.
The Coroner does not need to be involved.
Removing the body
Organised by the Coroner to have the transported by the funeral director to a directed facility
What must Police be aware of before the body is prepared for removal?
Be culturally sensitive
Be trauma sensitive
Advised Sgt & Coroner of specific circumstances
