How do you perform a blank determination test?

A
  • Disconnect hose
  • Do not connect to gas source
  • Place nose 3/4” away from exhaust
  • Perform test
  • If you don’t smell gas the device passed
  • If you smell gas wait 2-3 minutes
  • If it still fails contact I&R supervisor, return machine for repairs and re-test with different tech
