management of ophthalmia neonatorium

A
  1. intensive irrigation with n/s or any bland liquid
  2. intensive topical antibiotic
    a. 1 drop every 5min in the first hour
    b. 1 drop every 15min in the next hour
    c. 1 drop every hour
    d. review patient and treatment the ff day
    e. usually require admission
    f. systemic antibiotic are usuallly not given, unless ass with urti.
