What is the definition of Continental shelf?
The Under water edge of a continent.
What is the definition of Continental slope?
A steep slope that separates the continental shelf from the deep ocean basin.
What is the definition of a Trench?
A very long and narrow valley in the ocean floor.
What is the definition of Abyssal plain?
A very wide flat section of the deep ocean.
What is the definition of Mid-Ocean ridge?
A chain of high elevation.
How do of the different depths of the ocean affect the marine organisms.
Plants cannot live at the bottom of the ocean . so they need to be closer to the ocean surface where they can get sunlight.
What is the difference between a food chain and a food web?
The chain is formed when an animal eats a plant or another animal, and it always begins with a produce. A food web is when two or more food chains overlap and connect to make a web.
What are the organisms that are dwell?
The marine organisms

What’s the definition of upwelling?
Upwelling is the process of bringing cold, nutrient-rich water to Oceans surface.
What is the definition of downwelling?
Downwelling is the process of sinking warm surface water.
What’s the definition of a ocean current?
A ocean current is a permanent, directed movement of ocean water.
Why is the Golf stream so important to us?
Because it without it we would not have heat and because we are part of the Gulf Stream.
