PPROM MGMT

A
  1. admit for 72 hours
    - daily CTG, CBE, CRP
  2. MgSO4 if >30
  3. Abx IV benzylpenicillin
  4. 2 IM betamethasone 24 hours apart if 25-33 weeks
  5. if D/c advice about chorio, bleed, labour
  6. f/u weekly swabs and fortnight CBE, CTG and CRP
  7. (most deliver within 1 week of rupture)
