Q

How can financial barriers be overcome?

A

Financial barriers can be overcome in different ways. For example transport may be provided by the health service, they could provide a taxi service or a private ambulance. If the person is struggling to pay for the treatment than they could look into different benefits such as universal credit in which they can be supported financially, this will help with possible medications or further treatments.

Q

How can psychological barriers be overcome?

A

This barrier can again be overcome in different ways such as if the individual has a genuine fear or phobia about the service than if they felt comfortable than they could bring a trusted friend or family member to attend also. Some counselling may also be effective if the individual has a phobia about. This will allow them to be prepared for what is to be expected.
