Objections and FAQ's Flashcards
Does this software keep employee data private?
Yes. We are SOC II compliant, we only report at the macro level on groups of 30+ employees so employers never see individual employee data.
Is this software made available to family members?
Yes. Depending on the package you purchased it’s included, or can be added for an additional charge.
Is it available in multiple languages?
Yes. English, French and Spanish
Video content is delivered in English and French. Spanish is translated at the bottom of the screen.
Do you have therapists?
While we don’t staff therapists, we have a Connect Now feature. This customizable page can connect employees with one click to your EAP program, public hotlines for mental health crisis. Using this feature gets the employee crisis intervention faster and privately, and reduces HR time navigating these requests for EAP/other care.
What does implementation look like?
End to end it takes few hours over a few weeks. It begins with a launch for employees and managers, in-person or virtual, and depending on your company’s needs and the package you purchase, we conduct promotional campaigns, additional onboarding sessions or workshops in partnership with HR.

What kind of reporting do you have?
We provide clients with reports by function (30+ employees) on a monthly basis, combined with recommended tactics to improve any lagging scores. These reports also benchmark you against peer companies in your industry.
Resilience Score, Psychometrics, Engagement
How do you measure utilization?
We able to measure utilization in a few ways- logins, engagement, time spent in the application session attendance- depending on the products and services you have with headversity. When you’re onboarded, you can work with your CSM to determine the best way to measure not just utilization, but the improvement pain points we’ve discussed in this sales process.
What kind of utilization do you expect?
While we don’t have a target utilization, our clients who have leaders delivering TEAM learning consistently and sharing their own experiences have a much higher utilization of the SOLO application. The tone at the top sets clients up for a successful deployment and higher ROI.
I can share that utilization ranges from 20-80+ %. I would caution on using that range to define what good looks like for your organization. The way our clients measure is highly variable. Your CSM can consult with you on the right range to target when you’ve defined your goals for using headversity and the products and services you’d like to purchase.
Do you offer incentives for people to use it?
Yes, we partner with our clients to incent account creation, daily SOLO usage, consistent TEAM sessions led by leaders. There is also a badge reward system embedded within the applications. Incentives can be something as simple as a gift card or as elaborate as a team outing. Some of our clients have found that offering re-charge days as a team reward has been the most successful for them. Your CSM will consult with you on the best plan for your organization.
Don’t think my managers will use this (deliver TEAM sessions)
I can see how you’d feel that way. Talking about mental health is not something that everyone feels comfortable with or qualified to do
In fact, many of our current clients felt the same way at first and were nervous to try TEAM.
When they got a brave volunteer or two on the leadership team to try it, they found that not only it was easy to do but the employees were very supportive of the leader. Trying something new in front of your team makes you vulnerable, and employees appreciate the leader’s effort to change the tone and culture in the organization. Leaders who facilitate team sessions spend almost no time preparing, they read what’s on the screen and help the team talk about it- just like a meeting on any other topic. They particularly like the live poll feature- you press a single link, ask the team a question and they respond anonymously. Once employees respond to the poll, they often want to share more with the group about their response.
Tech fatigue- too many apps already
While I could tell you how much our clients appreciate our single sign on so they don’t have to remember a separate password, what matters more to them is that headversity in NOT just another app. For individual employees, we give them techniques to practice when they’re not looking at a screen and in a stressful situation. Our TEAM content isn’t about looking at a screen. It’s about looking at each other and talking about mental health challenges that impact everyone at work and at home, and knowing that it’s safe to talk about it. And our data insights help your organization to target live learning events and campaigns to improve specific facets of mental fitness.
Our EAP already covers this
That’s why we encourage prospective clients to dig into their current EAP program before starting a journey with us. There will always be a place for EAP, but their focus and expertise is intervention with a mental health professional, virtually or in person, after the person is in crisis. EAP helps only a small percentage of the employee population. We’re here to make that percentage even smaller with a PREVENTATIVE assistance program where employees and their families can improve their mental fitness before they require clinical intervention. Prevention is our expertise and we are a powerful partner for the EAP you already have in place.
No budget
Many of our clients will attest that while they struggled to find the fundafter they implemented headversity, they broke even in just a month or two simply with the time they saved in their HR department. For example, managers in the organization use headversity to recommend content and skill practices that can help an employee deal with stress or anxiety- this type of situation pre-headversity would take many hours of HR time. Another example of HR work that usually goes away after implementing us is handling employee referrals to EAP. With headversity, employees can do it confidentially through self service on our app. Those hours quickly add up to far more than the purchase price of our software
Too busy with other projects
But when they took the time to understand how headversity leads the project with very few resource hours from their HR team or IT, they easily found time for it along with other priorities. In fact, many clients implement headversity as an off-cycle benefit addition- so that it’s not competing with open enrollment or other busy times.
No work email
But what they found was we have multiple ways to create a SOLO account confidentially, using a code, personal email or even a fake email. Even with this approach, we can still include someone in macro level data insights while keeping their account confidential.
