Why mcgill

So many reasons why I want to go to mcgill, but when I prepped, I picked 3 main ones.

1) TEACHING Warm program, small program but big ressources, world renown university, wich makes the program a teaching gold mine, where it is possible to get a lot of feedback and develop myself in the field and become excellent.

2) Night float call system, is a big draw for me, autonomy. A little like what I did in 7 îles.

3) Extended network, global initiative and international opportunitieslike Dr without boarders

3) it’s a warm program. I went to all the virtual event for CARMS and I follow the residents on IG, and I feel that there is a genuine complicity, and a supportiveness in the program. A surgical residency is demanding anywhere in Canada, but the co residents and attending staff make it fun, and that’s what gives me the energy to give my 200% when I come to work in the morning.
