OBGYN Flashcards
Endometrial carcinoma
1- Ultramutated: DNA polymerase
2- Hypermutated: MSI -> mutation in MMR
3- Copy number high: TP53
4- Copy number low in obese people
Serous carcinoma
Mol: TP53, PPP2R1A, PIK3CA, HER2
IHC: p53 variation, HER2 30%, p16 block positivity.
Clear cell carcinoma
Looks like clear cells.
IHC: p16 patchy, HNF-1beta, NapsinA, p53 can be wild, mutant or aberrant.
Mucinous carcinoma
KRAS mutation.
Can have goblet cells, CDX2 positive.
CK7, CK20, MUC6, PAX8.
Undifferentiated carcinoma
MMR deficient: IHC MLH1/PMS2 loss
SMARCA4 mutation: BRG1 loss (If smart is lost then bridge is lost)
Loss/focal: AE1/AE3, EMA, ER/PR, PAX8.
Leiomyosarcoma
Tumor type necrosis with abrupt transition
TP53, RB1, ATRX, HMGA2
Endometrial stromal nodule
