At or above 1000’
To and from an NVG HLS standard pad
What is the min in flight visibility for NVG operations?
5000m at 500ft above terrain
What is the max flight time on NVG?
5 hours in any 24 hour period
Can an extension to the 5 hr flight limit be given?
Yes.
By the Base manager, HOFO, or chief pilot
How often are NVG serviced?
180 days
