Mouth very dry - tongue sticks to roof of mouth - cotton mouth
Thirstless despite having dry mouth
Sx < menses or pregnancy
Chilly < open air or cold air
+ hold ice in their mouth + fruit
Constipation of newborn with colic or in adult may have to strain even to pass a soft stool.
