Protein is a macro nutrient that helps build and store muscle

animal based proteins are essential amino acids. There are 9 essential amino acids found in food of an animal origin. For example: red meat, poultry, fish, eggs, milk and other dairy.

incomplete proteins (plant based) are made up of non-essential amino acids. E.g cereal, nuts, legumes and vegetables.

the glycemic index ranks carbohydrate foods according to the effect they have when eaton on the bodies glucose levels. blood glucose refers to the amounts of glucose in your blood. This glucose comes from whatever you eat and drink plus the stores that sit withen your liver and muscles.
whats saturated fat
saturated fat should only be consumed in small amounts. Mainly found in animal based products such as meat, milk, cream and cheese, coconut and palm oil.
