macronutrients provide energy and the three are :
-carbohydrates
-protein
-fat
what are macronutrients measured in

alcohol is considered as not being a nutrient but what
alcohol is a source of energy
what does the government recommend not to have in units of alcohol a week?
they recommend not to have more than 14 units per week. this applies to men and women
what is energy measured in
joules or kilo joules but there well known for being calories
what is protein made up of
there made up of 20 amino acids but 8 of them are provided by the diet. these are called essential amino acids

dietary fibre is a type of carbohydrate found in a plant
foods like oats and beans

saturated fat

how much should you drink a day
3.7 litres for men and 2.7 litres for women
