Nutrition is the process by which the body nourishes itself from the food we eat and drink

What is a meal?
A meal refers to food eaten at a specific time of the day
The three different meals?
Breakfast
Lunch
Dinner
What is a balanced meal
A balanced meal is a neal which contains at least one food from each of the three food groups
What is snack?
Snacks are smaller portions of food eaten in between the three main meals.
What are healthy snacks?
Healthy snacks are low in salt, added sugar, fats and oils.
What is unhealthy snacks?
Unhealthy snacks should be taken occasionally as they contain high amounts of salt, added sugar, fats and oils.
What is a balanced diet?
A balanced diet is all the food we eat and drink during the day
