What is an index number?
A mathematical notation indicating the number of times a quantity is multiplied by itself.
What is a Prime Number?
Prime Numbers that only two factors, one and it self.
What is a factor?
One of two or more integers that can be exactly divided into another integer; “what are the 4 factors of 6?”
What is a square number?
The result of when a number is multiplied by itself.
What is a common factor?
When two numbers share the same factor(s) e.g. 1, 2 and 4 are common factors of 4 and 16.
What is a common multiple?
When two numbers share the same multiple(s).
What is a square number?
When the number of dots representing a number can be arranged as a square.
What is a rectangular number?
When the number of dots representing a number can be arranged as a rectangle.
What is a triangular number?
When the number of the dots representing a number can be arranged as a triangle.
