CAHS Goals and Objectives
To develop quality, excellent, and
globally competent (QEGC) Medical
Technologists, Respiratory Therapists,
Public Health Practitioners, that could
deliver prompt, effective, and quality
health care services
To intensify, expand, and strengthen the
(IES) Bachelor in Medical Technology,
BS Respiratory Therapy, BS Public
Health, which would largely contribute
to the achievement of CSU’s strategic
development goals
To enhance and improve effectiveness
(EIE) of Medical Technology,
Respiratory Therapy, and Public Health
projects and activities through capability
building, skills training, and staff
development
To ensure a better preparatory course
for a higher education

NATIONAL SERVICE LAW
It was composed of 3 main programs:
civic welfare service, law
enforcement service, and military
service

AKA Citizen Armed Force or Armed

Act
Combination of all the previous laws, giving rise
through 3 components: CWTS, LTS, ROTC
R.A. NO. 9163 – NSTP LAW
Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC)
Refers to the program component,
institutionalized under Section 38 and 38 of RA
no. 7077, designed to provide military training
to motivate, train, organize, and mobilize them
for national defense preparedness.
involves training in basic intelligence,
map reading and land navigation, basic signal
communication, unit formations, basic weapons
training and pre-marksmanship training.
Combat Training of the Individual Soldier
(CTIS)
deals with topics such as
threat to National Security and the peace
process.
Public Information
the conduct of drills such
as patrolling, raids, ambuscades and rifle squad
tactics.
Small Unit Tactics
refers to the training
in visual tracking, military mountaineering and
jungle base operations.
Individual/Unit Training
familiarization
of cadets with selected military artillery.
Crew-Served Weapon Training
participation in
activities such as the Foundation Day of the
Institute, Intramuros Day, Blood Letting Activity,
Tree Planting Program and Alay-Lakad.
Civil Military Operations
the
conduct of routine flag raising and retreat
activities, weekly conferences, critique or
after-action review, orientation among the
parents about the program
Military Values Education (MILVED)
activities related to livelihood and economic
development.
Military Livelihood Enhancement (MILE)
attendance
to the selected events, ceremonies and
celebrations.
Community Relations (COMREL)
