How do you make nouns plural?
A
words ending in a vowel (a,e,i,o,u) = add ’s’
words ending in a consonant = add **‘es’ **
nouns ending in ‘z’ = change z to c and add ‘es’
NB. add or remove an accent when nouns become plural to keep the stress in the correct place, e.g.:
- un joven = dos jóvenes *
- un inglés = dos ingleses *
