Q

What is the difference between a Punch, Strike and Thrust?

A

A punch is a strike with the fore-fist or open fist, it as the elbow following the same path as the fist. Both a punch and a strike accelerate all the way to the target, but the strike does no have to have the elbow following the striking tool. Thrusts also have the elbow following the thrust but do not accelerate all the way to the target and on impact the body weight helps push the thrust deep into the target.
