Supervisory Devices
Electronically monitor valves for the sprinkler system, they notify when a valve is closed as the system will not operate properly.

Outside Screw and Yoke (OS&Y) ,Post Indicator Valve (PIV), Butterfly
What do sprinkler system valves do?
Allow the Fire Department to control water damage in areas of buildings where the fire is already under control
Notification Appliances
Alert people of the need to evacuate. (eg: bells, horns, speakers, strobes, text displays, or any combination of these devices)
Annunciator Panels
A panel, accessible to fire crews, that indicates the zone or location where the fire alarm has been activated. May be linked to smoke purge control panels and/or emergency communication systems for the building
