Arable
Land suitable or used for growing crops
Agrarian
The deliberate effort to modify a portion of Earth’s surface through the cultivation of crops and the raising of livestock for sustenance or economic gain.
(use of crops and livestock for one’s own benefit)
Aristocracy
The highest class in certain societies, especially those holding heredity titles or offices
Autonomy
The right or condition of self-government.
A self governing region
Bureaucracy
System of managing governments through departments run by appointed officials (Not Elected)
Celibacy
The state of abstaining from marriage and sexual relations.
Citizen
A legally recognized subject or national of a state or commonwealth, either native of naturalized.
(An inhabitant of a particular town or city)
Civil Service
The permanent professional branches of a government’s administration, excluding military and judicial branches and elected politicians.
(Military personnel who work for a government)
Despot
A ruler or other person who holds absolute power, typically one who exercises it in a cruel or oppressive way.
(Dictator)
Elites
A select part of a group that is superior to the rest in terms of ability or qualities.
(The absolute best of the best)
Empire
Many territories, countries, or peoples controlled by one government (also any territory ruled by an emperor)
Feudal
A political system and a social system where by a powerful lord would offer protection in return for service.
Fidelity
Faithfulness to a person, cause, or belief, demonstrated by continuing loyalty and support.
Filial Piety
A virtue of respect for one’s parents and ancestors

Any work or service which people are forced to do against their will under the threat of some form of punishment.
