Palabras que terminan en ando o endo en español son las palabras que terminan en ing en inglés
Words ending in ando or endo is the same as ingEnglish
-ing
Words ending in ando or endo is the same as ing English
El color masculino = El
Because ‘color’ is a masculine noun most of the colors will end in ‘o’ :Rojo, Negro, Blanco, and Amarillo.
If you have a feminine noun, the last letter becomes an ‘a’ = Roja Negra, Blanco, Amarillo.
Verde, and Azul don’t change
‘a’ para sustantivo masculino es ‘un’
‘a’ for masculine noun is ‘un’
Por ejemplo-for example:
¿Què es esto?- what is it?
Es un perro-it’s a dog (male dog)
‘a’ para sustantivo femenino es ‘una’
‘a’ for feminine noun is ‘una’
Por ejemplo-for example:
¿Qué es esto?-What is this?
Es una bicicleta-it’s a bicycle.
La / El= the (singular)
Las / los= the (plural)
-‘La’ es FEMENINO: siempre que veas La sabrás que la palabra que la acompaña es un sustantivo femenino.
‘La’ is FEMININE - whenever you see La you know that the word with it is a feminine noun
-‘El’ es MASCULINO: siempre que veas EL sabrás que la palabra que lo acompaña es un sustantivo masculino.
‘El’ is the MASCULINE– whenever you see EL you know that the word with it is a masculine noun
Por ejemplo-for example:
El libro= the book
Los libros= the books
La bicicleta= the bicycle
Las bicicletas= the bicycles
¿Cuántos hay?= how many are there (masculine)
¿Cuántas hay”= how many are there (feminine)
¿Qué son estos?- what are they?
Por ejemplo-for example:
¿Qué son estos?
Son Libros.= They are books
¿Qué son estos?
Son manzanas= they are apples
Se debe agregar ‘s’ a la palabra descriptiva, como el color.
* ‘s’ has to be added to the descriptive word such as the color*
Por ejemplo-for example:
Los caballos blancos= the white horses
¿Qué son estos?
Son caballos blancos= they are white horses
-Siempre que haga una pregunta, la mayoría de las veces utilizará la última palabra de la pregunta para comenzar su respuesta.
Whenever you ask a question, almost always you are going to use the last word in the question to begin your answer.
-En español el sustantivo va antes del color.
in Spanish the noun comes before the color
Por ejemplo- for example:
¿Cuántas bicicletas amarillas hay?= How many yellow bicycles are there?
Hay tres bicicletas amarillas = there are three yellow bicycles.
