Odysseus on Ogygia
On the Isle of Ogygia Odysseus is prisoner of Calypso, who is in love with him She doesn’t want him to leave, promises him immortality he refuses, loves penelope. Athena get zeus to let Odysseus go. He makes a raft and sail away, 7 years after arriving. ODD 10
Situation on Ithaca
Penelope has been sieged by suitors, Telemachus is looking for Odysseus presumed dead. Suitors plan to kill Telemachus when he comes back to Ithaca
Immediate Departure of

Leaving Ogygia
Poseidon wasn’t paying attention when Odysseus escaped, sees him and sends a storm. Odysseus sails on a raft and ends up on Schyros, Odysseus tells his story from Schyros with the Phaeacians, who then take him home ODD11
Scheria
home to Phaeacians, King Alcinous who gives Xenia to Odysseus. Worship Poseidon, but they still honor Xenia and take Ody. Home
Ody. Arrival on Scheria
Athena sends a dream to princess Naussica who wake up to go wash laundry. Find Ody. half killed on the seashore. She helps him as Athena strengthens her heart

lives on island of Aeaea, descendent of Helius like Medea. Hermes tells Ody. that Circe is a sorceress, get plant “moly” to not be affected
