Verify FMS selected runway and WDR runway/takeoff position agree.

INIT key - Push

PAGE key - Push

Verify WEIGHT INIT page TOCG and ZFWCG.

Compare WDR TOWT with TOGW.

TO/APPR key - Push

Verify FLEX, FLAP, V1, VR, V2, SLOPE/WIND, and OAT.

NADP2 - Verify CLB THRUST, ACCEL, and EO ACCEL at 1000 (AGL).

NADP1 - Verify CLB THRUST, at 1500 (AGL), ACCEL at 3000 (AGL), and EO ACCEL at 1000 (AGL).

Note: All entries may be manually changed if required.

STABILIZER TRIM - Set

SDCP ENG cue - Push

Set STAB to FMS or WDR STAB value.

Note: The FMS computed value may be used in lieu of the WDR value if the difference is 0.5 units or less.

FLAP T.O. SEL - Set

Rotate thumb wheel to WDR flap setting, if required.

Spoilers - ARM

Pull SPEED BRAKE lever straight up to lock in the armed position

Red band and ARM visible.

When workload and conditions permit:

SDCP CONFIG cue - Push

Ailerons and spoilers - Check

  • Check for freedom of movement and full travel turning the control wheel full deflection to each side, and center.
  • Observe SPOILER boxes green.

Elevators – Check

  • Move control column full aft and observe ELEV deflection, then full forward and hold
  • Observe ELEV boxes green in full forward position.

Captain will then call for “Taxi Checklist”

Advance throttles to a minimum of 1.2EPR.

At 80 knots:

(PM) - “80 KNOTS, CLAMP, THRUST NORMAL.”

At V1:

At VR:

(PM) - “Rotate”

At a positive rate of climb:

(PM) -“Positive Rate”

(PF) - “Gear up”

Above 400 feet AGL:

(PF) - Verify NAV or call “HEADING SELECT”, as required.

At the flap retraction speed:

(PF) - “FLAPS RETRACT.”

At the slat retraction speed:

(PF) - “SLATS RETRACT.”

After SLATS are retracted (PM) -

GASPER BOOSTER FAN - OFF

TRANS and AUX pumps - OFF

APU panel - Set

  • Verify APU AIR and MASTER switch - OFF
  • Verify APU data block not displayed on SD

FLAP T.O. SEL - STOW

Spoilers - Disarm

  • Push SPEED BRAKE handle down

EAD - Check for alert and status messages

(PF) Call - “AFTER TAKEOFF CHECKLIST.”
