AOA protections

A

Prims adjust/restrict elevator movement
Once inside below alpha Protection. SS commands AOA
A prot = max aoa stick free
A max = max aoa full stick
A floor commands full toga prior to A max
Stick full back gives you A max, if stick is released, it maintains A prot.

B bank limited to 45
S speed brakes retract
A auto pilot disconnects
P pitch trim limited to nose down only (current setting - 2 degrees ND)

A

A

Max roll rate of 15 degrees per second with side stick at the stop
spoilers ailerons and rudders all involved in the coordination.

A

A

In flight normal law is commanded with associated protections.

Flare mode

A

Passing 100ft in descent flare mode activates. During the flare, normal law slowly blends to direct so that at 50 ft a slight nose down is commanded. The trim is frozen. The sidestick still commands roll rate in bank.

A

0-33 pitch trim auto - bank maintained
33-67 - static spiral stability back to 33 ( stick free)
nose will start to fall
full side stick holds 67

FD goes away past 45 and comes back at 40.

Max bank limited to 45 when in high speed or high AOA
