- Primer - 3 Strokes and Lock
- Mixture - RICH
- Throttle - Cycle 1 stroke and 1/4” open
- Brakes - HOLD
- Prop Area - CLEAR
- Ignition - START (Attempt 8 sec. MAX)
When Engine Starts
- Throttle - 1000RPM
- Oil pressure - CHECK GREEN (In 15 Secs.)
- Mixture - LEAN FOR RPM RISE
- Throttle - 1000RPM
- Flaps - UP

- Mixture - RICH
- Throttle - 1/4” OPEN
- Brakes - HOLD
- Prop Area - CLEAR
- Ignition - START (Attempt 8 sec. MAX)
When Engine Starts
- Throttle - 1000RPM
- Oil pressure - CHECK GREEN (In 15 Secs.)
- Mixture - LEAN FOR RPM RISE
- Throttle - 1000RPM
- Flaps - UP

Wait 30 Seconds
1. Throttle - CYCLE 2 STROKES AND CLOSE
2. Ignition - START (Attempt 8 sec. MAX)
(Do not attempt start by cycling throttle. Use primer only)
When Engine Starts
- Throttle - 1000RPM
- Oil pressure - CHECK GREEN (In 15 Secs.)
- Mixture - LEAN FOR RPM RISE
- Throttle - 1000RPM
- Flaps - UP
