- Both HSI’s moving in correct sense
- Attitude erect
- (Nav instruments track correctly)
Take Off (Runway)
Strobe switch Strobe
Landing light switch On
Pitot / Stall warn heat switch On
After Take Off / Go Around
Brakes On then Off
Gear Up
Flaps 0o
Power Set (32” and 2500 RPM)
Engine indications Check
If leaving the circuit:
Taxi light switch Off
Landing light switch Off
Fuel pump Off
Cowl flaps As Required
Altimeters Set
Climb
OAT Check
(State OAT and check airframe for icing)
Engine Indications Check
Ammeters Check
Power Set (Normal Climb = 32” / 2500 RPM)
Top of Climb Check
Power Set (28” MAP and 2200 RPM Eco cruise)
Mixtures Set
Instruments Check
Cowl Flaps Closed
Icing Check
Routine Cruise Check
Fuel Check
Engine indications Check
Flight instruments Check
CO Monitor Check
Location Check
Icing Check
Fuel Crossfeed Drill
Fuel (low fuel side) X-feed
Fuel (high fuel side) On
Airframe Icing Drill
Cabin Heater On
- Cabin heat switch Heat
- Thermostat As Required
- Air Intake Open

Ice Light Switch As Required
Surf Deice Switch As Required
- Only cycle when ice is between 1/4” and 1/2” on leading edge.
Alt Air As Required
- Use if engine intake ice is suspected.
