Q

What is salt and pepper noise?

A

White spots caused by false saturation, and dark spots caused by a failed response - caused by failed sensors

Q

Meaning of anisotropic

A
  • not the same in all directions, we consider the likelihood a pixel will be similar to those close to it

Q

Basically, whats the difference between mean/guassian filters and anisotropic filters?
