Rescue Breathing

S/S: Pulse + RR insufficient

TX: 1 breath every 3-5 seconds

Abdominal Thrusts

S/S: Choking

Adult: Use abdominal thrusts. If pass out begin CPR

Infants: 5 back blows + 5 chest compressions

Rx: Pain

1,000 mg APAP + 800 mg ibuprofen / 8 hrs

Benadryl x4 (does little in severe case, but still give)

Epinephrine (Blue to sky. Orange to Thigh)

125 mg acetazolamide/Diamox
Every 12 hours

8 mg Dexamethasone THEN 4 mg/6 hr during evacuation

CHEW 325 mg ASA (4 baby tablets)

IF Systolic BP ↑100 + NO Rx erectile dysfunction → Wait 5 min → IF Pain>0 + Rx → give 1 dose Nitroglycerin
