Q
The OSHA Standard uses a 5 dBA exchange rate, what does this mean?
A
This means that when noise level
Is increased by 5 dBA, the amount of time a person can be exposed to a certain noise level to receive the same dose is cut in half
4
Q
How can the exposure of noise be reduced?
A
It can be reduced by eliminating the source (if possible) substituting the noise with a quieter one.
