What is Node.js?
Node.js is an open-source, cross-platform, JavaScript runtime environment that executes JavaScript code outside a web browser.
What can Node.js be used for?
Node.js lets developers use JavaScript to write command line tools and for server-side scripting—running scripts server-side to produce dynamic web page content before the page is sent to the user’s web browser.
What is a REPL?
A read–eval–print loop (REPL), also termed an interactive toplevel or language shell, is a simple, interactive computer programming environment that takes single user inputs (i.e., single expressions), evaluates (executes) them, and returns the result to the user.
