You can use no + noun at the begining of a sentence:

We use “none” without a noun or we use none of…:
How much money do you have? None (= no money).
This money is all yours. None of it is mine.
After none of + plural, the verb can be is singular or plural:
Note of the stores were (was) open.
You can use nothing / nobody / no one / nowhere at the b____ of a sentence or al____ (as answers to questions).
You can use nothing / nobody / no one / nowhere at the beginning of a sentence or alone (as answers to questions).

You can also use these words after a verb (especially after be and have):
There’s <strong>no one</strong> living there.
We had <strong>nothing</strong> to eat.
Nothing/nobody, etc = not + anything/anybody, etc.:
I didn’t say <strong>anything</strong>. (= I said <strong>nothing</strong>)
Jane didn’t tell <strong>anybody</strong> about her plan. (= Jane told <strong>nobody</strong>)
With nothing/nobody, etc. don’t use a negative verb:
I said nothing. (<em>not</em> I didn’t say nothing)
Nobody tells me anything. (<em>not</em> Nobody doesn’t tel me)

We also use any / anything / anybody, etc. to mean “it doesn’t m____ wich”.
